I am Tracey Molloy. I first joined the board of Club Wyong RSL in Oct 2017 and I am currently serving as the Chair, having been elected to the position in late June 2018.
Currently, I am a Senior Manager in one of the largest organisations in the NSW Public Sector and a Company Director. I started my career in the Royal Australian Navy, where I developed experience in complex data systems and analytics. I am an experienced relations, business and project manager with successful careers in both the private and public sectors across a diverse range of organisations and industries.
I have fond memories of the region as my grandparents lived in Umina and we would travel from Sydney for holidays. Some of my most cherished childhood memories are of days spent at Umina Beach and later regular Christmas holidays at the wonderful weatherboard Lakeside Guesthouse, built in 1923, which was located opposite the lake near the Entrance Boatshed.
I purchased my first home on the Central Coast in the mid 1980’s and have been a resident of Wyong Shire for over 30 years. Indeed this is a special place for me. It is positioned between the 2 major cities of Sydney and Newcastle and is within close proximity to the magnificent Hunter Valley vineyards. The pristine beaches, lakes, rivers, state forests and national parks make way for an enviable lifestyle. Currently we are living at an exciting time as Wyong community undergoes revitalisation of the township with future plans being placed for the development of a precinct.
I was welcomed warmly by Club Wyong RSL when I purchased my current property on the outskirts of town over 18 years ago and settled in. The RSL still retains its vibrancy and welcoming spirit to this day.
I am passionate and committed as we continue to strive to position our club as a pivotal venue which weaves the fabrics of our community together. Club Wyong RSL is truly our communal home.
